In the automotive sector, it acts as an additive that enhances reaction efficiency in diesel engine exhaust gas treatment systems (SCR systems). In industrial applications, it is used as an auxiliary solution for cleaning, cooling, and various chemical reactions, while in laboratory and research environments, it is safely preferred for reagent preparation and solution standardization. When stored and used under appropriate conditions, urea solution meets high standards for environmental and user safety, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring uninterrupted performance. Technical Details: Urea solution is typically used at concentrations of 32–40%, with solution density and viscosity varying according to concentration and temperature. The pH value generally ranges from 7 to 9, giving it a slightly alkaline character.
